College Involvement
Sophomore – Senior Year Engagement (Fall 2019-Present)
As I began to figure out where my passions lay, I took on more senior leadership roles and co-founded a pro-bono consulting club.
Co-Founder & President, Consult your Community
- Co-founded Tulane’s chapter of Consult your Community, a national pro bono consulting club focusing on local nonprofits and small businesses
- Served as a project manager on 4 cases: working with a nonprofit yoga center, vintage record store, vegan food restaurant and sustainable fashion startup
Vice President & Student Mentor, Green Bull Investment Group
- Lead weekly meetings with 50+ members of Green Bull, an organization that aims to help students learn about careers in financial services; mentor students in 1:1 strategy sessions
- Host panels and networking sessions with alumni who have professional experience in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Asset Management, and Management Consulting
Resident Advisor, Tulane University Housing & Residential Life
- Serve as a role model and campus liaison for 44 Freshman residents, mediating conflict, providing emotional support and upholding the ‘Community Living Standards’
- Host monthly events & programs to foster social growth in line with ‘Community Living Program’
- Collaborate with 18 Co-Resident Advisors, serving a total hall population of 450+ residents to ensure their safety & well-being
Freshman-Year Engagement (Fall 2018 – Spring 2019)
Club membership, volunteering and leadership activities I dove into my first year of college.
Sustainability Committee, Undergraduate Student Government
As part of the Freshman Leadership Program, I executed a Personal Leadership Project:
- Collaborated with 4 Freshman Leaders with the goal of increasing Sustainability Awareness on campus
- Designed Awareness Posters & Stickers that were distributed in high visibility areas around campus, influencing students to become more environmentally conscious
Tulane for UNICEF
- Coordinated strategy with the Education, Advocacy and Fundraising Chairs to increase prominence on campus
- Raised over $200 in under three hours selling donuts during Tulane for UNICEF’s November Donut Tabling
- Canvassed on the Freret Street, spreading awareness and collecting prizes for our Raffle Fundraising event
Freshman Leadership Program
- Selected as 1 of 37 Freshman Leaders from a pool of 150+ applicants
- Attend weekly Leadership Development meetings enhancing my technical and soft skills
Examples of development workshops include:
- Public Speaking, Teamwork, Empathy, Diversity & Inclusion and Design Thinking
